THIRD WORLD NETWORK BIOSAFETY INFORMATION SERVICE
Dear friends and colleagues,
The secretariats of the Cartagena Protocol on Biosafety to the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) and of the Aarhus Convention have jointly developed the following documents:
1) A checklist of key measures to assist Parties in ratifying and implementing the Aarhus Convention and the Cartagena Protocol on Biosafety with regards to its Article 23 in the context of living modified organisms/genetically modified organisms (GMOs/LMOs).
2) A summary of tools and resources that could be used by Parties to support implementation of the Aarhus Convention in the context of LMOs/GMOs and the Cartagena Protocol on Biosafety in relation to Article 23.
