A new report shows how transitioning from industrial to diversified organic and agroecological food and farming systems can produce enough food, reduce poverty and restore essential natural resources to feed the planet for generations to come. […] A series of profiles on agroecology, published by the FAO, shares the experiences of producers and organizations working with agroecological systems around the world. […] In order to make the paradigm shift from specialized industrial agriculture towards diversified agroecological systems, the vicious cycles keeping industrial agriculture in place must be broken.
